"There is a reason why Sir Elton John is deeming Cameron Bloomfield as an artist to watch"
1883 Magazine

Born on the fringes of London, where the city fades into open space, Cam Bloomfield is an artist and creator who refuses to be confined by labels. His work is as much about storytelling and movement as it is about sound - an exploration of music as a vessel for connection, evolution and self-expression.
A nomad by nature, Bloomfield’s early years were shaped by movement - both physical and sonic. From an upbringing defined by survival and reinvention, he found community in underground club scenes, jazz circles, and live music spaces, where he honed his craft across genres. His first-ever studio session was with Ghetts while still in school, leading to extensive collaborations and a UK & European tour. Since then, he has worked with Stormzy, Sampha, Switch (Major Lazer), Chase Atlantic, and TianaMajor9, crafting a distinct sonic identity that merges underground grit with cinematic scope.
As a composer, his work has extended to the screen, scoring award-winning films such as Viskar I Vinden and Sleep in the Fire by Todd Tourso (Beyoncé, Rihanna, N.E.R.D). His debut two-part EP, The Night Before / The Morning After, gained critical recognition, earning support from Elton John, MTV, Clash, and 1883 Magazine, and selling out headline UK shows before the pandemic forced an abrupt halt.
Emerging from this period of reflection and reinvention, Bloomfield's latest work pushes further into genre-blending sonic landscapes, incorporating his love for DJ-ing and live instrumentation into his performances. His upcoming releases weave themes of cultural shift, digital identity, love and human connection, set against hypnotic rhythms and atmospheric textures. Whether behind the decks or on stage, his sets create an immersive space where nostalgia meets innovation - where the familiar transforms into something entirely new.
Beyond his work as an artist, Bloomfield is the co-founder of Evoke: Creative Wellness, an initiative that harnesses music and creativity for mental well-being and community connection. Through workshops, live events, and collaborations, Evoke provides a space for people to explore self-expression and healing through sound. Working with grassroots collectives, tech innovators, and institutions like Soho House, Bloomfield’s mission extends beyond the stage - championing art as a tool for empowerment, and change.
With a bold new vision for live performance and a commitment to creative evolution and community impact, Cam Bloomfield is redefining what it means to create, perform, and exist within today’s shifting musical landscape.
